Before you get started here is a list of tools and products you will need:

Nail Clippers

Nail File

Cotton

Acetone

Aluminum Foil or

Nail Polish Remover Clips

Cuticle Oil.

Step 1. If you have nail extensions you will need to cut those off first.

Step 2. Use your nail file to buff off the top coat of your gel polish or dip powder this will help to speed up the soak off process.

Step 3. Use aluminum foil or nail polish remover clips to hold acetone soaked cotton ball over your nail. Let it sit for 15-20 mins, gel nail polish may come off quicker than dip powder.

Step 4. Take off aluminum foil or nail polish remover clips. Your gel polish or dip powder should be about 99% off. Use cotton to remove excess gel polish or dip powder. If you still have a ton of gel or dip powder on your nail soak for another 10 mins or until everything is completely off.

Soaking times my vary depending in the brand of product your nail technician used.

Step 5. Add a couple drops of cuticle oil to keep your nails healthy until the next time you see your nail technician.
